Algebra Exit Exam Program (8th Graders) Print

In order for a student to place out of Algebra I in any Chicago Public High school, he/she must pass the Algebra Exit Exam. Placing out of algebra permits students to enroll in more advanced high school math programs, including AP Calculus and AP Statistics.

If your child is currently taking an approved algebra course in a Chicago Public School, he/she can sit for the Algebra Exam during the Week of May 21st 2012 at his/her elementary or middle school. If your child is not a CPS student, he/she will need to register with CPS to take this Exam.

SelectivePrep is offering a 12 hour program to help prepare students for the Algebra Exit Exam. SelectivePrep's course will contain extensive algebra content review, exercises, and homework.Tuition for the SelectivePrep Program is $295. A minimum deposit of $100 is required to hold your spot, with the balance due the first class. Class size is limited to 20 students, so don't delay.
