SelectivePrep offers an intensive, structured algebra review program that not only helps prepare students for the Algebra Exit Exam but also improves algebra competency in preparation for higher level math courses in high school and beyond. Algebra Program BenefitsAccess to AP classes. Students who achieve a "pass" or "high pass" on the CPS (Chicago Public School) Algebra Exit Exam will have the opportunity to pursue AP (Advanced Placement) Calculus or AP Statistics. Students who take algebra in high school may not be able to participate in AP classes later. AP classes better prepare students for college and students who perform well on the AP test can earn college credit. Increased algebra competency. Mastery of algebra concepts will better prepare students for high school and college math. Enrichment. Younger students already proficient in pre-algebra concepts but seeking challenge will gain from an early exposure to critical algebra concepts.
