Working Together For Our ChildrenDo you want to attract top elementary students to your school? Parents choosing an elementary school want to know they are making the right choice for their children, and a key factor is your success rate in placing students into great high schools. A greater number of students admitted to Selective Enrollment High Schools helps improve your school's reputation. A better reputation attracts better students, who are then more successful in the high school admissions process. It's a virtuous cycle. SelectivePrep works with EducatorsSelectivePrep has held after-school classes at gifted, classical, magnet, and neighborhood schools throughout Chicago. Since SelectivePrep's programs are offered after school or on weekends, they do not interrupt ongoing classroom learning. We complement the efforts of teachers and at the same time take some pressure off them in preparing students for these types of tests. Funding for the SelectivePrep program is provided by interested parents, so it does not compete for your school's scarce resources. Our 8th grade program starts in October and concludes prior to the December test date. Our 7th grade program starts in mid January and finishes up before testing starts in March. Our 6th grade program to prepare for the Academic Center admissions test starts in October or November, depending on the students' testing timeframe.
